Whenever I go out having dinner at a restaurant I always examine the food thinking “How can I make this at home?”, “Hmm, what is that?” & “This is an interesting combination”. I can’t help it. I just like to find inspiration everywhere.
So last Thursday I made a performance with my ballet company in Tivoli. It was great. The weather was amazing and all in all the performance went well. My teacher is amazing at making choreographies and the show came together very well.
My mother and godmother watched the show and they also said it was great. After the show we went out having dinner. Nothing big but it was very nice. We went to one of my favorite restaurants Madklubben (The Food Club) – the one in Tivoli. They make amazing food. Both my mother, godmother and I had what they call “the green dish of the day”, which last Thursday was this:
A celeriac steak (besically just a piece of celeriac gently fried in some out), roasted carrots, new asparagus with salt, onions and watercress. Pretty simple but yet I have never had such a great vegetable dish. All the flavors just came together amazingly.
I have to try to make it one day. Looking forward to sharing a recipe.
