With less than a week until December starts I’m already planning on what to make and bake for the holidays. I know the holidays starts this week for most of you since Thanksgiving is just around the corner, but unfortunately we don’t celebrate it here in Denmark. I wish we did, though.
Anyways… I plan to make a lot of healthier treats this December. Well I have to make the mandatory vanilla wreaths, which is a kind of Danish butter cookies, as usual, thought they aren’t exactly healthy. But Christmas isn’t meant to be healthy and I think it is a time of the year where you really should treat yourself.
Seriously; apple chips are underestimated. Nobody gives them the attention, they deserve. Yeah, I’m serious here. They are so good!
I love the taste and texture but what I also love is that they are completely healthy and natural. Nothing but apples. Wonderful!
They are very easy to make and it is a great recipe for late fall, since the apples (sadly) aren’t as delicious and crisp as they were at the beginning of the fall.
Oh! BTW – I’ve gotten photoshop! I’m SO exited. That program is amazing. You probably can’t really see that I’ve edited these photos in photoshop instead of iPhoto as I usually do, since I’m not very good at it yet. I hope one day to be very good at it (:
